My name is Miguel Martinez, and I’m the founder of Data is in the Details. In my thirteen-year data career, I’ve held positions as Digital Analysts, Data Architect, Data Engineer, Implementation Specialist, and currently, I lead a group of Data Engineers for ViacomCBS. In that time, I have been fortunate enough to meet very talented and passionate people in the data world. As a consultant and an in-house employee for various companies, I have been exposed to a vast array of data solutions. One thought that I’ve always had was that there is too much knowledge and talent bottled up, both within individuals and within organizations, and the data community would advance more if ideas were shared more openly. This blog is here for that reason – so that data people of all levels, backgrounds, and industries can share their ideas so that the entire data community can benefit from it.
Our mission is simple –
To openly share ideas that advance the use of data.
